Institutional Investors' Divergent Views on Grab Holdings Revealed

At the meeting held to discuss the financial data for the quarter ending December 31, 2023, it was revealed that there were 301 hedge funds holding Grab shares, amounting to a total of 2,012,830,081 shares. In contrast, 26 ETFs were also invested in Grab, holding a total of 40,085,102 shares.

During the last quarter, 133 hedge funds were actively buying Grab shares, while 93 were selling. The total number of shares bought stood at 198,873,814, whereas 229,819,385 shares were sold. Furthermore, 43 hedge funds decided to double their position on Grab, while 5 funds opted to sell at least 90% of their Grab shares.

Notable institutions that displayed optimism towards Grab included Bank of America Corp, Norges Bank, Marshall Wace LLP, BlackRock Inc., and Invesco Ltd. Conversely, some institutions took a more pessimistic stance, such as Citadel Advisors LLC, Kaizen Capital Partners Ltd, Barclays PLC, Morgan Stanley, and SB Investment Advisers (UK) Ltd.
